Our Barneveld-based crews carry the parts and the know-how to get your air moving again today. Priority scheduling available across Barneveld and the surrounding zip codes.
Our Barneveld dispatcher asks a few quick questions to gauge urgency and get you the fastest available window.
Ask as many questions as you want; we'd rather over-explain than leave you unsure.
If anything feels off after we leave, a follow-up call gets a technician back out to make it right.
Leonard HVAC didn't start as a franchise chasing volume. Our crews carry manufacturer certifications across the major residential and commercial equipment lines.
We're not interested in being the cheapest quote on the page — we're the crew that answers the phone at 2am when your furnace quits in the middle of a cold snap. We carry the credentials Barneveld inspectors and property managers expect to see, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, big or small.
Barneveld's climate swings hard, and generic national playbooks don't always fit. That local knowledge shapes the maintenance schedules we recommend — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Trust in this industry gets eroded fast, and it takes real consistency to earn it back. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We'd rather lose a job to a lower bid than win one by cutting corners on the diagnosis, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Barneveld is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
Our office team is based locally too, not routed through an out-of-state call center that's never seen a Barneveld rooftop unit. It also means faster escalation when something's urgent — a local dispatcher can reroute the nearest truck in minutes, not hours.
Every service below is backed by the same licensing, warranty, and upfront pricing you get on any job we run.
Breakdowns rarely happen at a convenient time, which is exactly why our emergency line runs 24 hours a day. Our Barneveld dispatch team prioritizes no-heat and no-cooling calls so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
We keep the truck stocked with the parts that fail most often on the equipment common to Barneveld homes, which is exactly why most repairs don't require a return visit.
Not every repair call ends in a repair — sometimes the honest recommendation is a properly sized replacement. We walk Barneveld homeowners through load calculations so the new system is sized correctly for the actual square footage before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Every install ends with a performance test, confirming airflow, temperature split, and refrigerant charge are all where they should be before we consider the job finished.
A retail floor, a restaurant kitchen, or an office suite can't run without stable climate control. Our commercial division services multi-zone commercial buildouts across Barneveld, with priority response for facilities that can't afford downtime.
Property managers working with multiple Barneveld locations can set up a standing account so every site gets consistent service history and pricing.
Preventive maintenance is the cheapest repair you'll ever pay for, because it's the one that prevents the bigger bill. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle duct cleaning and sealing to stop conditioned air from leaking into attics and crawlspaces for Barneveld households that want more than just temperature control.
Maintenance plan members in Barneveld get scheduling reminders automatically, so tune-ups don't fall through the cracks during a busy season.
Guarantees only mean something if a company actually honors them, so here's exactly what ours covers.
If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
Emergency dispatch never comes with a hidden surcharge sprung on you after the fact.
If anything feels off after we leave, one call gets a tech back to your Barneveld address.
A little attention to how your system is running can save you a lot of money and discomfort.
A healthy system runs with a consistent, low hum — banging, screeching, or grinding usually points to a loose part or failing motor.
If some rooms stay hot or cold no matter what the thermostat says, the system may be struggling to distribute air evenly.
Gradual efficiency loss is easy to miss month to month, but it adds up fast over a season.
Short cycling puts extra wear on the compressor and shortens the system's overall lifespan.
Chemical odors may signal a refrigerant leak, which requires a licensed technician to handle safely.
We'll always tell you honestly when a repair is the better call versus when it isn't.
You'll know the cost before a wrench touches your system.
Because our trucks are stationed near Barneveld, we're rarely far from your address.

Our techs recognize brand-specific quirks instead of learning your system on the job.
Photos and plain-language notes accompany every diagnostic.
Replacement systems don't have to be paid in one lump sum.
Every review below reflects an actual service call in the Barneveld area.
"Our AC quit on the hottest weekend of the year and they had a tech out within a couple of hours. No pressure to buy a whole new system when a repair was all we needed."
"Signed up for the annual plan after our first repair and it's paid for itself already. Never once felt like I was being upsold on something I didn't need."
"They handled the whole install in a single day, exactly like they said they would. Followed up a week later just to check everything was still running fine."
"As a property manager, having a company that actually answers after-hours calls is rare. Documentation for our records was thorough and easy to file."
"The estimate matched the final invoice exactly, down to the dollar. My energy bill dropped noticeably the first month with the new system."
"The tech walked me through what he was checking as he went, which I really appreciated. No overnight surcharge shock — the price matched what dispatch quoted me on the phone."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through Barneveld's seasonal swings.
Homeowners who schedule a tune-up ahead of each season tend to call us far less often for emergency repairs. Before the heaviest cooling months hit, it's worth having the refrigerant charge checked, the condenser coils cleaned, and the filter replaced — all of which directly affect how hard the compressor has to work.
Keeping vents unblocked by furniture and rugs helps maintain even airflow throughout the home. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
Whether your Barneveld home has a traditional split system, a ductless mini-split, a heat pump, or a hybrid dual-fuel setup, our crews are equipped to diagnose and repair it. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
Every tech on our Barneveld roster goes through background checks, licensing verification, and ongoing manufacturer training.
